Crumbtown privacy policy

Effective 11 October 2026 · Applies to the Crumbtown Android app (package com.crucialgames.crumbtown) on Google Play and to the web version at crucial-games.com and thecrucial77.co.in. Published by theCrucial77 / Crucial Games.

In short: Crumbtown has no accounts and no sign-up. Your game progress is saved only on your own device. The only data that leaves your device is what Google's advertising technology needs to show and measure ads, and you can limit that in your device settings or through the in-app consent choices.

1. Who we are

Crumbtown is made and published by theCrucial77 (trading as Crucial Games), an independent game studio. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to rhlbhgt8@gmail.com.

2. Data stored on your device

Crumbtown saves your level progress, stars, coins, boosters, bakery upgrades and settings (sound, haptics) in the app's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. Deleting the app, or clearing its storage from your device settings, erases it permanently. Because we never receive it, we cannot restore lost progress.

3. Advertising

Crumbtown is free and funded by ads. The Android app shows ads through Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). The web version may show ads through Google AdSense and Google's H5 Games Ads. Rewarded videos are always optional: you choose to watch one in exchange for a bonus, and the game works without them.

To select, deliver and measure ads, Google's advertising services may collect:

DataWhy
Device or other identifiers (the Android advertising ID, app set ID)Ad frequency capping, fraud prevention, ad measurement and, where you allow it, ad personalisation
App interactions (ad impressions, clicks and reward events)Ad measurement and analytics
Crash logs and diagnostics (device model, OS version, SDK version, performance data)Keeping the ad SDK working and diagnosing crashes
IP address and approximate (city level) location derived from itServing ads appropriate to your region and complying with local law

This data is collected and shared with Google as the advertising provider. It is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for anything other than advertising. How Google uses the data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services, in the Google Privacy Policy and, for AdMob, in Google's AdMob data practices.

4. Your advertising choices

5. Purchases

The current Android release contains no in-app purchases and takes no payment. If coin packs are added in a future update they will be sold through Google Play Billing, which handles all payment details; we never see your card or bank information. This policy will be updated before that happens.

6. Optional Google Sign-In (web version only)

Where the web version offers "Sign in with Google", signing in is optional and is used only to show your name and picture on screen. The app receives your basic Google profile (name, e-mail address and avatar) from Google, keeps it in your browser's local storage, and does not send it to our servers. Signing out removes it. The Android app does not offer or require any sign-in.

7. Children

Crumbtown is a family-friendly puzzle game, but it is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads in the app are requested as non-personalised where law or Google's policies require it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Permissions the app uses

The app does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.

9. Data retention and deletion

Local game data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its storage. Advertising data held by Google is retained according to Google's policies; you can reset your advertising ID at any time to unlink past data from your device. Because we do not operate accounts or servers that hold personal data, there is nothing further for us to delete, but you are welcome to contact us with any request and we will help.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Exercise the advertising choices above or contact us at the address below. We do not sell personal information and we do not discriminate against anyone who exercises their privacy rights.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game changes. The effective date at the top will be revised and, for material changes, the app or the store listing will point to the new version.
